Replace Inverter?

Good Morning!

I have the stock U320 Inverter. Is it also an Inverter/Charger?

I'm thinking of replacing it with an Xantrex 2000 watt pure sine inverter. And have AC in from a shore power when connected - and automagically switch to shore power.

So can I simpy remove the existing Inverter and install the Xantrex?

We replaced our Prosine 2.0 with a Magnum 2812 about a year ago. I presume the Xantrex would be the same. Fairly easy to do. Took about 2 hours to take out and replace. A couple of Fofum members suggested I increase from 2kw to 2800kw so we did. We sere able to use the communication line from the old Prosine with the Magnum for the interior controler display.

I'm sure you'll get lots of input.
