Ignition Switch bezel will not come off

Key broke off in ignition switch, in the locked postion, at even by inserting the stub I could not get the cylinder to rotate in order to insert the paper clip and remove the lock. Soooo- I started unscrewing the bezel using small flat blade screw driver, and it loosened to a point and would to no further. I then pulled the wiring plug with the harness from the back of the plug and was still totally unsuccessful in removing the bezel.  I  was now sure I would have to replace the entire switch assembly, and have used a Dremel to cut the bezel.  The switch is now out of the dash and I'm getting ready to buy a new switch from NAPA.  The question is - where do I get that bezel??  It doesn't look like any bezel I remember from the '60s or '70s GM pickups, has anyone else had to acquire one?

I wound up drilling the lock cylinder out, and after doing that the remains of the chrome bezel and the pot metal conical piece that slides over the nose of the ignition switch came off.  NAPA numbers of KS6603 for the switch mechanism and KS6491 for the lock cylinder are still valid numbers.  Keep the conical device as the new switch does not come with either that piece or the bezel.  I'll call Foretravel on Monday  and see if they stock the bezel. If not, I'm already looking at having a friend that has a 3D printer make one out of plastic.

go to a junk yard and see if they know what will fit

It was on my to do list to replace it but had to research number. I just picked one up at Napa and it fits my 2003 U320.  b^.^d
Still cannot find the part number for the Bezel removal tool.

Bezel  removal  tool, could this help?

We found we did not need a tool.  We removed key cylinder & wire plug, then from the back, we rotated the lock housing by hand.

The three FT's I have owned all had common switches.  The Travco had a Dodge switch and the 85 ORED had a GM or Chevvy as well as the 95 280, if you got it out go to any good parts store and they can match it, or a junk yard, just look at GM models and I will bet you find one.

There are actually  4 parts to the switch  as  shown on one of Barry's posts.  The ignition switch and lock cylinder numbers are posted in several places on the forum.  The bezel and the spacer, the conical shaped pot metal piece that the switch slide into and goes on the back side of the dash, are two different part numbers  and both are necessary. The GM number Barry provided for the bezel is still valid, 391-8893. The old number for the spacer was 391-8894, but according to what I just learned on GM Parts Giant, that number has been replaced by part number 15591179.  I should know by the end of the week when mine arrives if it is the same part.
