Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #27 – August 16, 2017, 06:55:41 pm We also have a residential refrigerator and leave it on all the time. We also leave some basics in it. Our coach is in storage right next to our home so it comes in handy when we need extra space. Quote Selected 1 Likes
Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #28 – August 16, 2017, 07:03:46 pm I'd leave it run and not have anything in it that wouldn't be too bad if you lost power if not kept by your house. Quote Selected
Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #29 – August 16, 2017, 07:12:31 pm May turn off to start with. Then on after couple weeks. Hope to be on road in two weeks anyway. Quote Selected
Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #30 – August 17, 2017, 10:13:02 am We turn ours off, wipe it out, leave the doors ajar, nothing in it. The Samsung we have has no off switch. There is a combination of buttons to push to go into showroom mode, only the lights work. I added a switched outlet so that I could actually turn off the power. It takes about two hours to get to temp when we turn it on. Quote Selected

Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #33 – August 17, 2017, 11:28:52 am Brett's suggesting of shutting off the breaker is what we did as it was simpler than unplugging the fridge (ours was plugged into the inverter-powered duplex behind the fridge, so it was on the dedicated breaker labeled "ice maker" that was in the secondary breaker panel. There is no off switch on the Samsung refrigerator. Quote Selected
Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #34 – August 17, 2017, 12:05:33 pm In our 2001 and in the 2003, the #1 circuit on the sub panel connects to the icemaker outlet where your refrigerator is most likely plugged in. The 2002 should be about the same. That circuit also includes several other things such as the TV, overhead electronics, Bose, the inverter fan and maybe a Girard awning if you have one. Look for your 120v wiring diagrams and make sure if you use the circuit breaker method to turn off that circuit you aren't shutting off aomething else you want on.Using the circuit breaker as a switch will shorten the life of the circuit breaker. Carry a spare. The picture is from our Samsung Manual. This method turns off the cooling part of the refrig but leaves the lights on. Quote Selected 1 Likes

Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #36 – August 17, 2017, 03:28:31 pm Roger: Found the button u mentioned; however, the lights stay on. Must leave door open so light stays on. Will look for breaker but the idea of remote off and on is appealing. Tks all Quote Selected
Re: Refrigerator Replacement Reply #37 – August 17, 2017, 07:49:32 pm Dan, I put a handibox where the outlet for the icemaker (now refrigerator) was and added Romex from there into the bottom of the kitchen cabinets to the front end of the kitchen cabinets. Put in a duplex old work box with a switch and an outlet. You can neverr have too many outlets. The switch controls power back to an outlet in the bottom of the kitchen caninets right next to the refrigerator space. The power cord from the refrigerator comes into that space and plugs into the switched outlet. Quote Selected 1 Likes
