Here is an example of why I bought a FT

When I was looking for a motorhome many years ago now.  I thought I just wanted a pretty one.  Then I thought about the accidents I had seen with RVs and used the internet to search on accidents and came across a Grandville that was knocked over a cliff.  It rolled down the hill and the people walked away as well as their dog. I liked that then I looked at school buses and provosts and went to find a provost conversion.  I went to Buddy greggs and they would not even show me one.  Oh well, FT did  the TN store was a bit like Buddy Gregg but Nac opened them all up and I bought there.  I saw a news story today and sadly a woman died but it reinforces why I love my FT

sad loss of passenger in the stick and staple MH.  cannot recognize what brand it was.  If you've seen one, you've seen 'em all.
From the looks of things, might not have made a difference if she was wearing seat belt or not.  I tend to think many motor home passenger neglect to wear them.  In many case (though maybe not this time) the belt would prevent serious injury or death of copilot.

CmWe looked at Vogue, Hawkins, FMC and the holiday rambler .. right away interior quality was evident.. but the Vogue was as good, Oshkosh chassie.. not a cat engine.. then the Dr found a Unihome... oh my 40' corian, leather seats.. everything  ^.^d  3 years of looking at every one we could find.. always something didn't work. This was before we found out about construction... finally in 04 we found it in Marriott a Georgia. . Drove there from Rockford il.. and bought it on friday, took it to memphis.. put a tow bar and base plate on and took it home.. now this was the first vehicle she didn't drive first - as was our tradition  :D

I'd like to see a picture of a FT unicoach in a front end collision. The front cap is just fiberglass and there isn't much between the driver and what is outside besides some thin fiberglass.

Yup. The Unihome driver position is much higher than the Unicoach. But both are made like Sherman tanks. I feel very safe driving Forrest. I am always cautious when a driver in a hurry passes me. Always on full alert for anything to happen from a blowout to a sleepy driver; or one with poor judgement of which there seem to be a lot more on the road these days.

I have seen a couple FT after a front end collision.  Smokey had one and his coach was at FT and they dealt with insurance and he bought another one. I saw one come inon a tow truck and be deposited in the lot and I saw one in TN. All the drivers faired well.  Lots to repair though. Heck a bridge counter weight crushed a coach and they repaired it.
