I sold my Cruiserlift motorcycle lift on Craig's List for $1500 in a couple days.  Dave knows what he is saying.  It's simple to add two receivers to a FT.  Smitty's Welding in Katy did mine.

ThAts what I thought too. Not sure why MOT is saying different , is cruiser lift hydraulic? What is weight capacity?

Great to be excited but time to get everything fixed or repaired.  Stay in coach close for couple nights and you may find couple more small things.  You are on the right track.  But appears you will not return to Nacogdoches very often so take your time and get to know the setup and how to make it work for you.  DAN

After you wear out your welcome at MOT, you could drive a mile down the road to Camp FOT and park there for the night.  Ask them inside at the Service Writer's offices, and they might let you stay for "free".  Tell them you want to buy some "stuff" for your new coach, but need a night's stay to complete your shopping list.  Good opportunity to meet the shop guys, poke around the shop, meet other coach owner's, etc.

They have a nice selection of (over-priced) clothing, hats & gear with Foretravel logo for sale in the sales office (east end of building).

You could also visit with Beverly Koonce in the Motorcade Club office and sign up, if you are so inclined.  ^.^d

I hope everything went well today. 

Just SE of NAC is the Sam Rayburn Reservoir with some nice Corp of Engineers campgrounds.  A short shakedown drive, nice campgrounds, any issues you are not far from MOT.  Always worth a couple of days to try all you learned on your own and everything you still need to learn.

I am here. I arrived at closing but I got to spend a few minutes in the coach. So far so good. One thin I did notice. The listing said it has a Tempupedic mattress. It has a new brad new mattress but I'm pretty sure it isn't a tempurpedic, which is important to me. I'll find out more tomorrow.

Perhaps there is a Public Health rule prohibiting licensed RV dealers from selling a coach with a "used" mattress?

I'm only half kidding - I know Salvation Army and Goodwill won't take ANY pre-owned bedding donations, even if in "like new" condition.

What a day! Many thanks to Brett Wolfe and his lovely wife. The coach is awesome. I learned a lot and have a long, steep and exciting learning curve ahead.

A few things need attending to and are being done today and tomorrow. I signed up for the Motorcade Club. If all goes well I should be on the road tomorrow night.

I went ahead and agreed to a full oil and chassis service, all filters, generator service, coolant flush and service, etc.

MOT was kind enough to provide a full fuel tank.

As mentioned before thanks to all on the forum that helped me along the way.

that is great news on the new coach.  You have a baseline now for maintenance with the service. I would stay close to MOT for a day and live in the coach to make sure everything works and head out a day later. It is already weds, and the difference between leaving thursday or friday is not much.
