AGM 4D Battery Tray
Hi All,
The previous owner of my 2009 Nimbus replaced the original equipment Lifelines with 4 - 6 volt wet cell batteries. The 6 volt batteries were installed flat on the floor in marine battery boxes covering the battery compartment vents. All has been removed in preparation for the Lifelines. James T was able to provide a picture of the compartment that clearly shows that originally there was a tray for the batteries. The drawing that he provided for a steel battery tray does not accommodate the Lifelines and does not appear to be the same as pictured. Although the picture is not clear, the tray does not appear to be made of steel. Can anybody add additional clarity before I begin to construct a battery tray/platform?
