You problem never fails in the service bay

Well, I had a slide issue that brought me to MOT for service.  Of course yesterday the LR slide did not fail and pinned every time.  You know that dreaded could not reproduce issue on the service ticket and the small charge to let you know you are an idiot.  well, today I brought in the back slide and then as Keith was bringing in the front one, it failed.  Now that is perfect timing.  He said he sees what the problem is and he can fix it.  Usually it is a three trip process but I am happy it is not this time.

Very few things are as irritating as an intermittent failure, especially one that refuses to manifest itself when trying to demonstrate it to a repair mechanic. ^.^d  ^.^d Lucky you!

Well it is an easy fix but not one I would have known to look for. The torq bolts did not hold the glide strip in place and let it rise up a small amount and that means the slide was out of level when it came in. Now we are going to put in a rollock bolt in its place.  That should help it not move again.
