I put in a Pioneer Avic but I like the one in my dodge truck better. Then again my Pioneer is 8 years old today.  I love the XM in the coach and use it all the time.  I also got a radio that could be used as a GPS and a backup camera as well.

I installed a dock in my U295, in my Ford pickup and in my home so that I have access to my one subscription everywhere I go. I found having one built in in my wife's SUV was too limiting. Food for thought.

Sirius XM, "A La Carte" subscription @ $10/month (including taxes) for 50 channels.  We have a dock in the coach that plays through the Blaupunkt Toronto 420BT head unit, and a SD2 table model radio in the house - both accept the Stratus 6 receiver.  Excellent sounds!  ^.^d

We prefer docked radios that can be moved from one vehicle or home to another and now have the Lynx model.
My research found that  there are 3 different types of radios: Sirus, XM and SirusXM.  Both XM & SirusXM use XM satellites and Sirus uses Sirus satellites.  Future growth will be on XM satellites with the SirusXM radio.  XM is not helpful in explaining technical details.
