The crushed coach .

Still at FOT and walking and talking to the folks that make this place operate so well . The subject came up about that coach that got crushed at a lift  bridge by the counter weights being lowered on to it . I had a good look see  at it . ( Wow ), looks like a completely new coach . Can not find a single mark of any kind to indicate anything ever happened to it inside or outside . Found out the cost was $257,000.00 , the insurance company paid up and everyone is happy . Makes me feel good to know that we have that kind of back up when and if the time comes .          Brad Metzger

I wonder which insurance company it was. Most try their best to get out of paying. Just sayin

Sometimes even an insurance company knows when they just need to pay up and move on. I suspect that they are very thankful that they didn't have to pay out a couple of million for two deceased travelers plus the quarter million to fix the coach.

Here are a couple of pics that Foretravel took of the repaired 2009 Phenix.  Steve and I also walked through it the other day and agree with Brad - incredible restoration!

Wow I wanted to see that one.  I was in it before it was crushed as it was Ron Mayers coach and he would be at FOT the same times as I was.  :)

Wow, I had forgotten how bad it really was. Or how bad it could have been!

When we saw it at the factory in mid December they were still pulling what seemed like miles of wire and had recently formed the front cap from a 2009 Mold they had(since they didn't have a front cap in stock) but was not ready to install yet.

The finished exterior looks great. Im sure the owners are happy to get it back.  Wonder if we will see it for sale in the near future.  Never Know!

I wonder if the salesmen will voluntarily disclose the "interesting" history of the coach to potential buyers?
