New Stripes on the Lot at FOT

Well, I just arrived and it is still summer here in Tx.  I will say that there are bright new stripes on the lot so you can see where to park.  They also have so many sale coaches that they are down three into the section with the Laundry.  I see a new Realm up front too so I want to see if I can get a tour of it tomorrrow.  I have to talk with David F about the next remold and want to go pay for the Grandvention with Bev too while I am here.

Sorry I missed you John.

I was in the realm too. Interestingly - the E/W king beds are now the type that mechanically turn into a ";ounce" by raising the head of the bed and the portion under the knees (think hospital bed style) Using this bed mechanism allows "some" access to the rear of the coach which is where the main bathroom is (with the slides in)

These 45 footers all seem to have a 1/2 bath in front of the bedroom- never really saw the reason for it until I realized that underway with the slides in, navigating to the rear bath not so easy.......

:Liked the realm - not enough to take on the depreciation, but a 6-8 year old one might be interesting - air over Hydraulixc I think

John- didn't get a chance to ask - looks like a 240V Kenyon Induction two burner top in the Realm and IH - I assume they power via shore or generator, not inverter. Wanted to price getting that top and my propane tank removed, but didn't have time to ask how it is wired and how much that might cost. If you get a chance, could you ask the question please -

Thanks! Have fun helping keep the NAC economy going.  sees you at Gvention - FWIW, David Flanigan said he would be at GVention as well.

Yes they do power it only via shore power or generator and I think you have to have 50 amp shore power or run the generator the way they wired it when I checked a year ago.

Yes, 240V appliances require split phase power from either a 50 amp pedestal or generator.  You can still plug into a 30 amp pedestal - but any 240V appliances won't function.

I saw a Prevost Xtreme that had two 5 or 6 KW inverters.  I am wondering if those power the two legs of a 240v circuit?  Does the Relm or IH45 have dual inverters?

Seem to recall most if not all of the all-electric coaches have 2 inverters.

Latest IH-45 brochure says:

- 2 - 2800 watt inverter/chargers
The latest inverters are stackable to provide split-phase 240V operation. I'm sure that's how the 240V cooktop is powered, and possibly the floor heat. Any IH-45 owners to confirm...?

- 340 amp alternator
Need some serious charging capability for an all-electric coach...

Unless I missed it, there is no detail of the battery setup - how many chassis batteries and how many house batteries?

They delivered my coach with 6 4D's and three starting batteries on my 08.  The D's are in the bay and the starters are under the engine area.  The newer coaches the starter are with the 4'ds in their own bay.
