Latest Cummings reccomendation for bio diesel use and M11 specs

Was speaking with Cummings technical about something and asked about my engines latest recommendations.

They now OK Biodiesel up to B20 for older engines.  (Mine is a '95 M11).  Quote "Just be prepared to change filters more often".  They are not worried about reaction with engine components.  What comes before the injection pump put on by others is a different matter though.

For those that don't yet know the additives in bio diesel are great cleaning solvents.

Also true output of my M11 is 376 hp with 987 ft lbs torque.

We probably should call regular diesel the additive as the very first diesels ran on peanut and other vegetable oils.
