Sewer Hose Door with Rodent Shield

Modified the drop down door in hopes of keeping mice out.  Replaced the fiberglass flap with .062 aluminum.  Cut support and hold down parts from same material.  Hemmed the hold down to make up for the difference in thickness between the flap and the rounded part of the door.  Lexan (.125 thk.) might be as good or better choice for material.

Drawing was done using Google Sketchup.  Highly recommend it.  Amazing software and the free version is all most folks will ever need.  YouTube videos make getting started easy.
