1991 GV New owner

So I made the offer on the 1991 GV of 5k$ and the owner said yes.
I need some help from owners of similar coaches. This coach has a 250 hp Cat 3208 motor.
There was no data plate that I could find on the motor so I need to ask a favor. I need to buy some Cat specific parts and they will not sell any without 2 numbers off the date plate.
The serial # and the arrangement #
Could someone provide me with their #s so I could get some o rings to seal the injection pump ?

Also does anyone know what size the fuel line is where it attaches to the motor ?
Just a review the coach last ran 2 years ago. Had been owned and driven 20 k miles and just quit one day. The owner had it towed to its current location 100 miles from me where a mechanic tried to fix it. He diagnosed it as needing an injection pump and lift pump and the nearest Cat dealer said 7k$ to repair.
The owner said no to that and I just bought it.
My plan is to get a separate fuel tank put a fuel pump on a line and connect direct to the motor bypassing all of the current fuel system and eliminating air in the fuel issues. My thought is it will likely start at that point. Also plan to have the o ring to reseal a leak in the throttle rod seal on the pump if that is leaking once it runs.
Thanks in advance.

I would think that call to Foretravel would get you the engine # from their data base.  But you will need your build number off the data plate by the driver's knee wall.

This is going to be an interesting thread, please keep us posted.

We have a 1990 with the 250 Cat.  I doubt that your injection pump is bad.  those were tough injector pumps and last a very long time unless contamination got into it.  Let me know if you need any specific info.  The data plate should be on the right valve cover facing the transmission end of the engine.

Built on an Oshkosh Chassis (not a unihome) with an Oshkosh build date of May 1990.

Is your new toy an Oshkosh or a Unihome? posting the entire build number string would tell us.
