1986 grand villa rear ac wiring

I have determined that there is a short in the wiring going to my rear ac unit.  Does anyone know the route that the wire takes after it leaves the engine compartment.  It appears that I will have to replace the wire from the breaker to the ac unit.  I am trying to avoid tearing apart too many walls.

The saga continues.  I was able to correctly troubleshoot my problem.  I had a bad breaker.  It would trip immediately leading me to believe I had a short.  All I needed was a $6 breaker from Home Depot.  Saved a lot of work.
