expoding fan parts numbers

Per the request of another board member I am separating this post from another one.
I have a 1991 Grand Villa has a Cat 3208 turbo motor with a rear facing radiator. I have read about the exploding fiberglass fans and my coach has one. I did a Google search using the Flexalite part number mentioned in the post from 2 years ago and absolutely nothing came up. Does anyone have a current part number for the replacement fan that does not explode ??
This fix is the first one I will do as I could not afford $4000 radiator repair right now. So before the coach starts or moves again that will get replaced.
TIA
JOHN

Not sure I can help, John. I don't know when FT switched to a side-mounted radiator  ('92/'93 ?) If no one has a clue about your fan, (hard to believe on this forum) here's a couple of pics; perchance the radiator mfg has a clue. I'd never thought about my fan before, it's steel! By the way, if you're going to stay on the forum , stick the coach specs down in your lower signature area, it helps us! Let us know. M

Mike you can pull that fan off and take it to about any big truck parts place and they can find a replacement the diameter and blade pitch along with mounting bolt pattern. If you can figure out pitch bolt pattern and diameter you can do it yourself . or call foretravel they can tell you. I can tell you it would be cheaper to source one yourself. Try snd post a picture of what you have, we like pictures here.

Hold your horses, cowboy, John has the issue, not me!    ;D  In retrospect, if that radiator has to come out, here's one's last chance to get at the belts and hoses!

Scott Cook  "RRadio" has a 6V-92, his fan broke and took out his radiator about 2 yrs  ago, maybe you might like to talk with him, he did the work himself I think and in a church parking lot.
Also Stump is right on.
Best I can offer.

If you're going to have a problem, that's a perfect place to break down!  I can't get at the air dryer with ease, but when they moved the radiator, it sure made it easy to check the umbilicals!
