Both Bose Speakers Under Bed Stopped Working

I searched past threads for any info about the question I'm about to ask, but had no luck.

Background: Our 1999 U320 has the OLD Bose system (not the 321). The amp/tuner/CD player is in the left front cabinet, above the driver.  In Zone 1, five sets of cubes are wired around the living and dining area. The bass speaker is under the kitchen counter opposite the couch. In Zone 2, there are two speakers tucked under the left and right corners at the foot of the bed. There is a remote for each zone.  Everything worked when we bought the coach.

Now the question: we recently had two upgrades done — one was to add a Progressive Industries HW50C, which is installed under the bed.  The second was to upgrade both TVs to LED flatscreen displays. The HW50C and TVs are working great. What we've lost is all sound through the two Bose speakers under the bed. Any ideas about what might have happened, what might have affected the bedroom Bose?

Already attempted:

    • Talk to the tech, a good one, who did the work.  Nothing he changed should have affected bedroom Bose.  My early years were spent in the music industry, so connecting stereo gear, knowing what connects to what (and why), and the difference between optical, RCA, and mini-jacks, etc., is all familiar stuff.
    • Check the obvious.  Before the HW50C was installed, we had a problem with no Bose sound in the bedroom on just one side. That turned out to be a cable with an RCA jack connection that I found lying in the "well" where our transfer switch is installed. Cleaned the RCA connectors, reconnected them firmly, and everything worked.

Watching the tech do part of the bedroom TV upgrade, I did see a box on the inside of the bedroom wall (visible when the cedar panel was removed in the bathroom closet to gain access to the old TV).  Does that box have anything to do with bedroom Bose?  Or is there anything else someone can think of, if you have a similar system?

By the way, in deference to those with different opinions of the Bose, I know from previous threads this sound system and those speakers weren't everyone's favorite item.  <big smile>  But we've enjoyed ours, because we occasionally watch videos while sitting in bed and the Bose sound reinforcement beats the TV's internal speakers. Similarly, if we are playing music up front in the coach, it's nice to have the same thing playing the bedroom just to fill the whole coach with sound.

Ahh, the whims of an old musician . . . apologies!  Even though my fingers stopped working, at least this old Bose was still going strong. But now part of it is not!  ;-)

This is probably something you already checked, but do you have a/c power going to them. On mine the passenger side has a/c power and  the driver side is a slave.

Check all of the wiring connections from the front to the back and the 110 connection under the bed as well as the circuit breakers.

Are the batteries in the rear remote OK?

I went through the same thing recently:
1. Under the bed, unplug the RCA jacks, tap on the inputs to the powered speaker, if no sound coming out on any speaker, the power speaker bad.  That happened to me.  I bought a replacement from eBay.
2. After replacing the speaker, still no sound, check the head unit (CD, FM) at front. On the back unit, there were Zone1 and Zone2 cables.  My zone2 cable was coming lose.
Hope it helps.
