New Couch and Chair Coverings

My '95 U240 couch and chair are in need of new coverings. I would not mine having the same fabric/color/print, but I don't have any idea where to start trying to find replacement fabric. Any ideas about price, quality and availability will be greatly appreciated. I want to purchase the fabric and have a local shop do the upholstery. Thanks in advance.

Your local shop that is going to do the work should be able to guide you to right weight fabric. They likely have samples or can send you in the right direction. Being close to Dallas, you have several wholesale furniture fabric suppliers as well.

Added this per Dolly, who has done lots of fabric and reupholster work. She says that a local shop might also offer better pricing on fabric bought thru them than making it two purchases.
