1995 Generator Hatch Release Cable

Pull cable that after 20 years, weathers away and all the penetrating oil/spray won't loosen up.

Solid with too much corrosion keeping it releasing the latches..

I'm looking for a vendor rather than dealing with Nacadoches..  because I'm cheap.

Anyone with a source?

Thank You,
pc

The newer cameras are cheap and it's not a big deal to post. A lot of questions would be easier to give help with pics!

The cable on my '99 was frozen and wouldn't free up. I rigged a temporary fix with a small pulley and a lawn mower starter rope.

The final solution was a new cable from FOT

I've found, checking on google @ "push pull cables", will get a listing of various cable builders from all over the country.
The deal would be to  find one that is in your area.
My old cable is going across town tomorrow.  I'll get you the vendor and his pricing info ASAP.
BTW.. the half dozen or fasteners are 1/8" sguare drive screws (on my 95' anyway.) .. pc

This operation is also the vendor for a great deal of item's RV people may need.

COST FOR CABLE
$60.00

The new cable looks identical to the old cable and surprise.. they made the old cable.
They DO prefer having the old cable for measurements.

Look them up on the www..  pc
