Drain Cap

Does anyone know where I can get a Drain Cap for a 1997 FT.  Seems all they sell today ore too small to fit the outlet.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Thetford is a different size. You can look in camping world or call MOT or FOT parts or look online.  It is bigger then Valterra

This "looks" right.  I'd verify size, though.  A "Thetford" brand sewer hose I purchased did not fit Thetford fittings.

That's the one we have.  And this Amazon.com: Thetford 01665 Curved Hose Adaptor: Automotive is the fitting you usually want to put on the coach end of the sewer hose.  To make it fit in the hose "cubby", if you have one, you'll need to file/grind down the "shark fin".

I'm still looking for a end cap.  No success yet.  It cannot be that difficult, but sure seems like it.

Was the cap in Rick & Robyn's post not what you were looking for?  That's the cap for the OEM sewer outlet; Thetford 01664.  The corresponding curved adapter used on the sewer hose is part 01665 (see my earlier post)

Ray,

There's only 2 common types of sewer pipes on RVs: Thetford and Valtera.  Thetford is usually white plastic, larger diameter and has 2 locking pins.  Valtera is usually black plastic, smaller and has 4 locking pins.  You've already been shown the Thetford type cap (above).  The Valtera cap looks like this:

Amazon.com: Valterra Products, Inc. T1020 3" Black Termination Cap with...

If neither of these is what you are looking for, a previous owner of your coach may have added/converted to some other uncommon connection.  A photo of your drain pipe end would help us identify...

If you do have Thetford, you can carry a adapter with you which will allow you to use either Thetford or Valterra type hoses and fittings.

I know what you are looking for and I might have one in my storage but won't be there for a couple of months.

Here is a thread discussing the Drainmaster sewer hose system.  Some Foretravel owners have found this type of connection installed on their coach.  Is this what yours looks like?
