Fog Lights no power and part of the running lights?

First off I cant find my phone cable to upload pics but I will tomorrow.

I replaced headlights, turn signals assembly and fog lights.

Headlights are Halo style

turn signals are led style

Fog lights are led

Took ALL day to do this with 2 helpers ( I mostly chased parts or tools).
had to take the whole headlight frame assembly out. That was a pain. After we replaced the assemblies we worked on the fog lights.
Had to make custom brackets to get them in. "T" bar made with flat bar.

so the problem is.. I have no power to my fog lights at all.. ( no good with diagrams).
I checked the switch at the console (driver side at window) and it doesnt seem to get power either. one of the lights that is running lights( I am guessing.. green and white wire plug .. ls94 base plug?) is not working either. I looked at the relays at the driver door(right side as you enter) and cant seem to find any that are bad.. where would I start? I looked at the diagram page of owners manual and cant seem to figure it out.. is it possible that both the fog and part of the running lights are on the same fuse?(relay)?

I checked the fuse in the bedroom but none seem to be for the headlights, fog or driving lights.

Going to add the Hid to my projectors next and trying to figure how they attach to the housing (the bulb part) but I took a few pics and will add them later.

Also did LED on the rear brake lights... really updates the coach overall.

Check this thread - is ignition in "on" position and headlights on (not sure if the 02+ generations are wired the same, though)?  Fog Lights not Working

114 degrees, working outside in the sun, lying on hot pavement in the street...whatever you are paying your helpers, it's not enough!  :o

On my 2001 I changed the Hella Aux' lights/Fog lights for very similar LED's that look like yours.  A big improvement, "Can you See me now"!!

The Aux/fog light switch that you say is on the side panel and the outer of the rear three switches must have the ignition ON to get any power.

I wish there was a similar conversion for my headlights on the 2001? As for the working conditions, UGH, dry heat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On my coach the fog lights are only on with the headlights on low beam, not sure if the ignition has to be on.  Fog light switch has to be on of course.

It appears that there are a few differences amongst the coaches as, on my 2001, my Aux/Fog lights are on any time the Aux light switch is ON "and" the ignition is on regardless of the headlights!!  I use them as running lights.
Nice conversion and will make a lot of difference for your night driving.
My Aux/Fog lights are exactly the same as yours.

Thanks everyone.. went through 2 cases of water some canadian dry and some bud light for the guys... The Dry part of the heat went away as soon as we started working  ;D  .. I will dbl check the key position as I am pretty sure I tried everything.

Ok, so I guess there was one position i didnt try... Turn the Key on, turn the switch on for headlights and flip the toggle for the fogs.. They actually WORK!!! Thanks Guys ( and Gals)

Now the burned base I took a pic of does not work and I beleive it is part of the running lights.. anyidea where the fuse might be? could prolly jump it off the other light I would guess..

BTW that first pic is upside down for some reason but that is the bracket made for the fog light.. just flip your monitor to see it

What is crazy (on this coach), is the fogs only come on with the headlights on, not the markers, making them worthless for driving in REAL FOG! I, like a lot a people, I'm sure, would like to use the fogs for daytime safety driving, as well. As soon as I find a "wired wizard", I'm going to have that issue dealt with!  ^.^d

Mike,

It is very simple to modify the aux lights to come on anytime you want them.

Look at your 12V wiring diagram.  Find the AUX/LT relay (#54 on our coach).  The power for that relay comes from the 20amp AUX LTS fuse, which is HOT with ignition on.  The control for that relay is a brown wire that goes to your AUX LIGHT switch, and from there to your headlight switch.  Therefore, the headlight switch must be ON to provide power to the AUX LIGHT switch.

To mod your lights requires one simple change.  Cut the brown wire between the headlight switch and the aux light switch.  Take the end of the wire still attached to the aux light switch, and connect it to any convenient "always hot" (BATT) terminal.  After this modification, the aux lights will operate independent of the headlight switch position.  They will come on any time you press the AUX LIGHT switch, as long as the ignition is on.

Your coach is nearly identical to ours.... really feeling those headlights.........must ask wife........

They make the coach look updated.. total in all I think I have about $400 into the front and rear including the fogs..I can link it up if you want.. nvm here you go

Note of Caution.. If and when you do the Headlights with HID conversion... they are a little difficult to reach.. if you drop the lights (and brackets holding lights) I would try to put in the passenger as it is out.. the driver side was kinda hard enough.. I should have looked it over a little better before I attempted it by braille

I use a stick of wood to jam between the brake pedal and the dash.  I carry it on the floor next to the driver's seat in case I ever have to stop and get out on a slope that is too steep for the parking brake to hold.  It works for checking the brake lights too.
