New Home for Forrest

Well, that didn't take long. I posted a couple of days ago that I was looking for a 320 or a nice 34 foot 270. Well, a beautiful 34 footer which we have admired for years became available and we seized upon it. The one and only Forrest Foretravel and his estimable following companion, Henry Honda, will soon be heading down to their new home in Arizona.

John,

I can't express the joy I feel that Forrest & Henry will be in your care.  It is indeed a sad moment for Beth and I, but we are moving on to other interests as Forrest just did not get enough travel time. I wish you and yours the finest of times in the invinsible duo and that you too can create as many wonderful memories as Beth and I have.  The past 14 years have been wonderful with the Foretravel family and this wonderful forum; the best there is because of its membeship. So many wonderful folks that really care about our comraderie and interests in Foretravels.  Thanks to all the moderators for doing a wonderful job for us members.

I know I won't be able to stay away from this forum entirely, I just join in the membership that has been.

I will miss you all very much.

Here's Forrest and his little brother that follows him around Henry going to their new home in Arizona with their new adoptive parents Captain jor and First Mate Judy.

This happened today (Aug 18, 2016) 14 years after our adoption. It was sad to see them go. But they could not have asked for better caretakers. Jor & Judy will make lots of new memories with the boys real soon.

Yup, a big part of your lives going down the street. It's a poignant, bittersweet moment, as we've had with a previous coach, as well. I have a sneaking hunch, you and Beth are not done with this crazy lifestyle!  ^.^d

Never is a very long time. We want to do other types of travel for the next few years.  Then, it's anybody's guess what we'll be doing.  Y'all know we like the camping style, hiking, golfing and touring micro brews wherever they are.  I'm fairly certain we will always be on the road one way or the other as we refuse to fly unless it's the only way to get there.

We are always open to host or lend a hand in whatever way to any of our FoFums in a moment's notice, so don't be shy.  There are still lots of you out there that we will likely meet at one time or another.  All it takes is a bit of will & desire.

We've met, in the last few years, a number of owners that had Class A coaches that had switched to the "Super B coaches", as their road needs changed. They are very cool; for full timers, it would be tight spaces, but they can get to places we can't go!  ^.^d

Peter and Beth,

Thank you for your contributions....I still feel very much a newbie and you are one that reminded me about getting "Button Pusher" out when not in use keeping the systems all used and ready.  When 'Forrest" when to the gym so did "Button Pusher".  Ohio and Michigan can be tough climates....Enjoy your new adventures!!
