Audio System ?

On my 91 GV the stereo is hard to see where it is in the dash. Is there a single DIN stereo receiver that would fit in the opening but have a remote touchscreen big enough to see that could sit on top of the cup holder shelf between the seats?
Something that I could run a HDMI from the TV when I upgrade that would work also as that sound system as well?
What are my audio entertainment type options in this arena.

They are getting harder and harder to find.  I also use mine for javelina tank readings

I got a pioneer DEH-80PRS,great audio,single din,has a remote,many inputs.

I read some of the reviews on this unit.  One review indicated that it was difficult setting up - did you have any problems?  How did you get inputs from the Javelina and did you get anything beside the tank readings?

I get the rear camera and Javelina on the video output and you are able to switch between tanks and back up camera with factory switch on dash.  I had it installed at a local stereo shop.  No problems.

Stump, check Crutchfield electronics in Charlottesville, VA. I got my unit from them and they have customer service you wouldn't believe.

We found that high-end computer audio is very good and not real expensive.  Gamers like good sound, and computer market does not support expensive audio like the home audio market does.

We have a Logitech 5.1 surround system, subwoofer under couch, wireless remote control.  We feed our TV into it controlling volume with TV remote.  Four speakers give us sound mid and front coach.
