Thermostat mounted on the wall next to the microwave

What pray tell is the thermostat mounted high on the wall just to the left of the microwave? And one more question, what is the switch next to the floor to the right of the kitchen sink as you face the sink? This is on our 89 GV.
Thanks in advance....

Big John,

Thermostat.  Two possibilities, both shown in photo below.  The bottom one is the control for the Hydro-Flame front propane heater.  The top one is the control for a Kool-O-Matic exhaust fan which is usually mounted in the ceiling right above the cooktop or microwave.

I moved the thermostats in our coach to a better location, which is why they may look different from yours.

As for the "next to the floor" mystery switch - no clue.  Will need more information or better yet a photo to help identify it.

And if you have a "need" the bulbs for the Powerwatch can be ordered from Powerwatch yet.

The switch by the floor (without a picture) could be the propane leak detector/solenoid to turn on/off the propane system

Thanks to all. You were spot on. My Hydro Flame front heater T-stat had already been moved to a similar location as in
your picture. The switch on the baseboard below and to the right of the sink was indeed the propane solenoid. Has anyone had to replace the blower motor on the Duraflame heater? I have the one in the bedroom a squealin' like a pig under a gate when it first comes on. Next minor project, I guess. Gotta love her!!!! Miss Mary Lou thinks I have a new girl friend, I think!!!!!
Thanks again to all......

Welcome from Wichita,  IRC the furnace fans motors have oil ports on the bearings, seems like mine was sqealing  when I bought it. My front furnace would trip on high limit due to low airflow, replaced the ductwork that was partially collapsed pinched limiting airflow, helped extend run time before it would trip again. If my front furnace dies I will replace it with a smaller btuh unit because it's too many btuh, and airflow issues cause most of the heat to be blown out the flue, instead of inside the coach.

That video makes the Atwood look dreamy-easy by comparison.
Yes, it's not a bad job.  I replaced the motors in both of our original furnaces.  The first one was a learning experience.  The second one went a lot faster.  I also, at various times, replaced both circuit boards with Dinosaur boards, replaced both ignitor/flame sensors, and replaced the rusted out "burner" in both units.  Our refurbished 18 year old furnaces still work just fine.

If anyone is disassembling the furnace far enough to replace the motor, then I suggest also taking a look at the burner and ignitor.  If original, then they are probably due for replacement.

OK, they tell me the only stupid question is the unasked one, soooo here goes.... As I become more acquainted with my new sweetheart, and there is no "owners manual" per se, I guess I need a little clarification on how the hot water valves work in the air duct box right behind the center "console" between the front seats, and the valves under the "front hood" on the passenger side right below the windshield. I can try and figure it out by the tried and true "try it and see" method, but you folk have been supercalifragilistic about helping, and it is so appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!!

Looking at the hole, the right hand tap is to drain the water tank and stays closed until you want to drain the tank. The left hand tap is to fill, open all the way to fill then close after filling. That's about it, the cold/hot systems are drained with the taps under the couch near the wall.

Thank you! I had not figured out how to do all that.  What about the valves under the "hood" in compartments  on the nose?

OK, I'll bite, what valves? Are you talking about the two lifting panels on the front ? If so then I haven't a clue. More info please.

I looked closer, and the way it was positioned,  the valve looked like it was tied in to another hose. It looks like it is either a vent to either vent air out of the coolant line that runs to the heater core, or the way it is "plumbed", you could almost add coolant from there. The coolant I am talking about is engine coolant.

Sounds like someone added a cheap automotive type radiator flush kit at one time to the heater hoses, doesn't happen to say prestone on the cap?
