Dash A/C Leak to Interior

This one is for future searches in the unlikely event anyone else has this issue. When I bought this rig the dash A/C worked well. After a couple hundred miles, however, in humid weather I noticed that the carpet around the dog house was soaked, so much so that it was actually dripping onto the entry steps. What's the deal? I saw some condensate leaking out onto the ground but the volume seemed less than what I'm used to seeing. I hoped to clear the condensate hose as suggested here but couldn't find it.

Fast forward a couple of days to Foretravel. No condensate hose. They got into the system and found that the tray beneath the unit, the one designed to catch the condensate and allow it flow out of the vehicle, was cracked and broken. Almost all of the condensate was simply flowing onto the floor of the coach.

Foretravel was able to have a local tin shop fabricate a close approximation of the original pan. Works great. (except a minor R-134a leak).

I'm thinking someone previously working on this system (there have been several) broke the pan so it's unlikely anyone else will run into the problem but just in case...

BTW, this was a $700 learning experience.
