Hidden switches behind the dash

I had the dash lid up to check a problem with the dash vents and came across a couple of panel switches (one momentary) mounted on the frame to the right of the right hinge of the round dash lid.  Another thing not explained in the owner's manual.  Does anyone know what they are for?
I've also found what looks like a coax cable with an oversized bezel, similar to the one for the CB, coming from the right side under the middle part of the dash.  Same question.

Those switches might be for the trouble codes for the engine and transmission. When you turn one on, the "Check ___ light" will blink a two-digit number that gives you a trouble code. For example, if you turn on the transmission switch, the check transmission light will blink. A blink-blink  blink-blink-blink    blink-blink blink-blink-blink is a code 23.

Can you post a picture of the coax end? Have you tried to see where it goes? Also, if you can read any of the information on the coax it might give a clue. Our coach, seven years older than yours, had a coax for a cell phone antenna. I replaced the cell phone antenna with a 5/8 wave 2 meter antenna and connected the other end to my two-meter ham radio. Might yours have had a cell phone antenna? Have you looked at your roof antenna farm and figured what each antenna is?

I had read somewhere that those buttons are used to set the low and high idle on the smart wheel, but I can't find the source.

They are for checking fault codes on eng and trans.
 Sven, type in buttons under dash in the search box and should bring up lots of info.

If I remember correctly, one switch is for the codes as referenced above.  The other adjusts your low idle speed.

The large coaxial could be from the defunct alpine navagation system

The coax is for the roof cell antenna.

I asked James at FT about the switches.  He said one was for engine trouble codes and the other was for ABS braking.  I didn't ask for details, since I had a different reason for calling.

There's lots of good information here on the forum about those switches - search on "blink codes" and it will explain how they work.  Transmission codes (and fluid levels) are via the transmission shift pad.
