Hot water tank bypass install
I am preparing to winterize my 1994 U240 GV and decided to install a hot water tank bypass kit. Since the U-Line Ice maker was removed and replaced with the Wine Cooler it was easy to remove the cooler to expose the back of my Hot water tank. I decided to use the vent ( located on the wall below the counter where we sit for meals ). Now when I want to bypass the tank and put in the antifreeze I only need to remove the vent cover to access the bypass switch.
