Floor layers in early 2000 - 2004 Foretravels?

How is the floor constructed in Foretravel?  Plywood? Thickness? Other layers?

I was in a Monaco today getting flooring work, and it was thin strand board with some give to it.

I've been through the FT, in under & behind nearly every cabinet and I've yet to find OSB or particle board. Don't know how thick the plywood is but it's thick enough and supported well enough that mine has NO flex.

Mine is now 1" thru out with the ceramic and or maple wood on top of that. Not one cracked tile or grout in 8 yrs and many many miles on rough side roads in Mexico too.

After all the surprises of our former (SOB) coach, the solid flooring and a shower pan that did not give  were two of many reasons we bought the FT.

Monaco used two pieces of either 5/8" or 3\4" over their top frame cross members. Entire assembly welded with fairly large tolerances on the parts and completed assembly.  Heavy. Non serviceable fuel lines and air lines.  No "run" under the floor.

Foretravel preassembled and vacuum laminated a steel framed insulated floor structure with a specific plywood topping. 

The completed assembly was then bolted with large washers to the separately preassembled vacuum bonded compartment dividers and those in turn were bolted to the bottom floor with boots going up through the floor assembly.

Lighter, stronger, serviceable, better insulated.

Since I'm in the middle of installing new flooring I can tell you that my top layer is 1/2 in 5 ply plywood with 1 1/2 in foam board. What I don't know the thickness of the bottom board without drilling a hole all the way through. As a side note I did notice around the captain chairs mounting holes there is 1" plywood with 3/16 steel plating.

Monaco has no insulation in the floor
