110v Compressor

What is the function of the 110v compressor?
If all air has been dumped out of the coach, leveling system is OFF, and any remaining air has been released from the coach (valve by rear wheel) what would cause the 110v compressor to come on....several times within 24 hours and running for 3 to 4 minutes at a time?

In a totally unrelated question is it better to store the coach with air bags inflated or deflated?

Thanks to everyone as always!

Slide bladder compressor and sounds like it may have a small hole in it too.
