velcro left dash stained....now what?

When cleaning the dash I removed a device which was attached to dash with a strip of velcro.  When I removed device velcro came off with it only to reveal the dye from the velcro strip had leached into the vinyl of the dash and left a nice blue square...any ideas on how to attack this one? https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-CrFJVRN/0/M/i-CrFJVRN-M.jpg  click on the link to see pic...any ideas would be helpful...thanks

If you are in the Nac area they have a guy that specializes in dash repair.  He fixed a couple of holes and did some dye work on other places.  I would guess that these guys are all over the place.  Might contact a car dealership in your area and see who they use.  :)

Have had the Mercedes dealer in North Houston touch up the drivers seat from the rubbing of a seatbelt....turned out as good as new.

Being as the "stain" is on the dash, where the sun beats on everything, is it possible that the blue you are seeing is the original color of the dash prior to the sun treatment over time? That the Velcro protected the color under the strip?
What shade or color is your dash where the sun has never had a chance to bake it?

Wow! I couldn't imagine having a blue dash.

I would think that the blue may have been leached out of the velcro from years of cleaner being sprayed on it from dash/window cleaning.

(note to self) Always buy white velcro.

I have the same blue square from previous owner having Velcro on the dash. Nothing I have used will remove it. I position the VMSpc over it.

H-M-M-M. Our dash IS blue, albeit a very light powder blue.

Classic Coat

Not sure if they have your color but there are other brands available.

Dave, I too had very good results with vinyl, dash repair service from my local VW dealer (he is a contractor for most of the new auto dealers in the area). He had repaired a hole of my leather car seat previously and came to my coach to repair the dash. It was a perfect repair. +\_ $50 or so.
