Allison transmission shiftpad WTEC III
I see a few posts about having problems shifting into reverse, we are having this problem now and hope for some advice. My husband recently drove home and was backing our 295 into our driveway, and had to make a couple of adjustments to his placement. Well when he went to go into reverse the shiftpad would not respond right away, he had to press the R pad a few times to get it to respond. He finally got it to go into reverse but has not been able to since then. We went to see if we could figure out what the problem is but it the shiftpad will not go into reverse OR neutral now. It will go into Drive and it used to go into Neutral before today but now that is not working as well. The error code we got is dL-70 and d1-(not sure of the order) We disconnected the shiftpad box and opened it to see if we could clean the connections but did not know how to go about doing this. Any advice out there for us newbie's hoping to get this resolve. All advice greatly appreciated!!
