Radiator

Radiator/CAC arrived yesterday (second time, first time it was damaged in transit) and the fun starts.  Today I removed the panel - thanks John Haygarth and John S. for your input.  I'll post more as I go and post photos when I learn how to do so on this site.

Sven, meant to ask on PM why the replacement of CAC as I repaired 4 holes in mine around 4 yrs ago and it is still working (pressure) as designed. I actually get up to 34lbs in mine with Banks.

We discovered the leak while on the road in Portland, Ore and stopped at the Foretravel authorized service center, Oregon Motorcoach Center in Eugene, to have it evaluated.  They told us that the radiator needed to be replaced and they strongly recommended that the CAC be done at the same time - this was their usual practice, since the CAC usually goes about shortly after.  I would have been happy to have done the radiator alone.

I personally have no heard that one and sorry to say think it is BS. Very expansive item and easy to replace years after Radiator, done in less than a day by you. Do not throw it away or recycle.

Charge Air Coolers do not usually have catastrophic failures. They only have hot air going through them. You may get pinholes or even a split seam, but in almost every case they can be repaired. For Sure keep the one they remove.
You might be able to sell it down the line to someone that has been in accident and really needs one.

Make sure it's in JPEG format and under the max size permitted on the forum and then place it somewhere easy to find like the desktop. Go to preview and then select/click "selecting them" at the end of the attachment and other options box. Navigate to the desktop and select (dbl click) the photo. The photo should load and then just hit "post".
