We have an 88' GV and have just recently converted the front tube lights to LED's it was simple and cheap with everything available through Amazon. If you run through the "what did you do to you MH today ' posts you will find all the info' you need.
Also please check the 'we are rewarded' post for the Amazon portal that helps fund the Forum site.

What makes some LED G4 base lights flicker. It seems to me that those that flicker also get hot.

Tried searching for a good answer but not very successful.

Should the voltage be 8-14vdc or some type variable for the coach voltage?

Jimmy,

You can now buy special "conversion" LED bulbs for almost any application, but it can get very expensive to change out every bulb in your coach.  If you want to save yourself some big bucks, you can remove the "guts" from your existing light fixtures, and install LED strip lights in their place.  It is not hard to do...just takes a little time and labor.  Search the Forum for "interior led conversion" and you will find lots of helpful info.  Here is one thread to get you started:

Try Ledwholsalers.com in Cal, they also have a good customer service #. They also warranty all of thier stuff. Look at automotive in their menu, the Bulbs need to operate on 10-30V DC to live long in your Mh.

X2 on Chuck's install. I did my own conversion last year and saw his slim lights at the Lemon Rally in Quartzsite and just HAD to get them for my side lights. They look so much better than the old florescent holders.
