Receiver/Dryer

Hi Berry,

It's been a long time.  We are still motor homing.  Haven't been out this last year. Due medical work. After  70 its part replacement. I have a question regarding Receiver/dryer I have a Parker 3520-016 I think the label is hard to read. I contacted Parker they do not have a  cross over number.  Would you know is this good number. Is there is a replacement number and is there a replacement with a sight glass?

Thank You Karl Brenneman

I don't know the replacement part number but keep in mind that when using R134a a sight glass is of little if any value. A properly charged system will probably still show bubbles. The only way to properly charge is by monitoring pressures and temperature.

You can take it to a real air conditioner repair place like Marks Air in Tampa and they will match it up with the correct one. It should be a 3/8 o ring dryer, but don't know if yours has a binary switch on it. If it does they will have one to match. I just changed one on a 2001 Wednesday of this week.

You have a 134 system, but 5 years newer than mine. I will post my part number that I picked up at a local automotive A/C supply store tomorrow. If I still have the old one I will post a pic of it.
