Rust Prevention

On the front of my coach right behind the tire is a metal brace going from the bottom of the fiberglass to the firewall. It is 8" long.
Right behind the brace towards the outside I had some rust and found a small hole on either side. The hole was from rust damage
and has been fixed and pained with Por15 products. The hole was hard to see but it was where water was getting in,I caught it
in time no major damage.May be something for those of us with these older coaches to check, will get a couple of pictures.
Currently in the process of making mud flaps to keep water off this area.

Was the hole deliberate? Maybe a weep hole for water to escape.

No,was rust thru, was on the bottom of vertical wall, the back of the angle iron that runs the width of the coach is what was rusted.
