...twobus had the same Issue with my 280  a couple years ago. The sloped windshields definitely have a more severe problem with condensation than the straight bus style windshields.

OK, here is the "finished" dash, for now anyway, I will recover the gray material later but for now, to get me down the road, I will go with this black/gray combo. Really, it looks fine like this.
The top piece was wrapped in foam, vinyl and the defroster vents was made with some expanded metal mesh that is used to protect your gutters from leaves, I cut it down and painted it flat black. I think this will work fine and looks as good as the plastic parts that used to be there. This will allow more air flow anyway.....

So for now, this chapter of the "dash" is closed.
I will eventually re-upholster the whole thing, maybe replace the chairs, do the carpet and either refinish the wood or just paint it all.
We will see how things go.

Unlike most here I recogonize your dash.  Drove countless miles with that setup.

Big difference other than the GV body is the ground to frame design,

The practical difference is flickering lights at times.

Frame is the ground path.

Unicoaches have a separate green ground wire and a mesh ground pad under the dash that I see is not in your ORED.

Would putting a solid metal bar behind the centre vertical rubber strip fixed top and bottom help to stiffen the front of the nose cone,

Is the twist coming from the top or the bottom of the windscreen,, Which part is actually doing the moveing sideways,
The roof or the dash,
Mine doesnt have rot in it, but it does move sideways badly, I need to some how stiffen the whole thing up,
To prevent the movement,

I realized I never followed up with this.
I had paid a windshield company to come out and reseat the windshields before my trip.
When I got to my destination and leveled, they popped out again. I was so disappointed.
Bottom line is that these rigs twist. The metal frames rust. They are just not built right.

So I solved all my Foretravel woes and I bought a 1990 Prevost Bus.
Smartest thing I ever did!!!
Yeah, I paid over $60K for it which was still a steal but they are built like tanks.
All of the metal in these busses are coated with a rust resistant metal etching primer and then spray foam
covers every inch of it top to bottom. They don't rust. They are stainless steel or rust prevented coated metals.
This thing is solid. It doesn't flex, it doesn't twist. There is NOTHING like a Prevost XL LeMirage, NOTHING.
So if you ever have the finances to move into true bus ownership, do it.

Precisely why Old Town Motorcoach would not reseat my windshield. There is a fix for this issue but the folks that replace or reseat the windshield must be both knowledgeable of the cause and capable of the repair procedure.
