Audio Devices?

These appear to be some sort of audio devices but what do they do?

Thanks

Super8mm, The one on top is a digital to analog pass through tv converter box.  It was used with the old glass tube tv's to take the digital on air signal to the old analog glass tube tv's.  If you have led or lcd tvs, you will not need this, if you have a digital led or lcd tvs that will take the digital signal without this converter.

The box on the bottom is a coax switcher box.  Takes the signal from your roof top antennae or park cable or dvd or vcr connection or sat dish and sends to front or rear tv.  It also may switch inputs vcr, anten., sat, etc. to tvs.  It is old tech, will not work with hdmi, only coax.

I received two 13.3 TVs today, 1080p capable lots of different inputs/outputs. Input voltage twelve volts dc. Fit in my overhead cabinet. Hauled out about 26 lb of old CRT TVs. Pretty darn good picture quality for about 85 bucks a piece. Brand name was super Sonic. I rarely watch TV but the wife does and possibly the grandkids. New TVs we're less than 2 lb a piece. But no lighter plug for the 12 volt input. Your needs Maybe different.

Great place to ask questions, especially if the person doing the talking is NOT associated with your service ticket. I found out the hard way once, after asking an old timer a question about walnut interior, I went to Walnut University. Slowed my guy way down by listening to him. Yes, you really can discover all sorts of things. Take notes!

My coach has miles of wire overhead from multiple updates. I am slowly weeding out the "in-op", abandoned and neglected cables and wires like a rookie bomb squad volunteer. The selector and splitters are gone, but I swear this stuff grows overnight.

Where did you find them?  something like that might fit the bill for me, there are only about 3 shows a week I watch on regular TV anyway but then the OTA has a lot of good oldies too :-)

I haven't been inside much, my coach has been here for about 10 days so I am paying a 2 day visit while the weather is nice.  They say they make get to the brakes next week or mid January but thats OK as long as it right.  :)

SuperSonic sc-1311 on eBay I believe. Make sure you get the ones with the remote. We switched to Office 365 the other day and I still can't get all my emails. To verify where I ordered it from.

Since upgrading my entertainment system, using HDMI, the only coax cable going into my controller is from my shore connection.  There is no need to push any button, so it is pretty much useless.
I've also been cleaning out unnecessary cables, trying to reduce the spaghetti back there.  If there is a cable or wire that is not connected and not removed for some reason, I attach a label to it to avoid confusion in the future.

Thanks Sven,  I will probably start upgrading some of this stuff in the spring, I will remember the labeling the unused stuff as I got.
