Removing the metal bar at slide
I am about to install vinyl flooring in our coach next week. I have received some good response from the forum about my concerns regarding the slide. My question is: What precautions do I have to take when I remove the slide bar from the leading edge of the slide? I was told to " shim the slide up " to keep it from tipping into the coach. Any insight regarding this will be appreciated. I have to remove the metal bar in order to " modify" the slide to deal with the difference of thickness of the vinyl to the carpet/pad. Thanks.
