barrel chair replaced by La-z-Boy recliner question

I was wanting anyone that has replaced their barrel chair with a La-z-Boy recliner to share model and or the dimension. I talked to FT and they said any narrow lazyboy would go through the door. However, the word narrow is not what describes my size. So I am looking for help.

Would a euro-style recliner work?  I very much love the one Foretravel put in my coach when it was built in 2003.

You might look at this one. We really like ours. My big rear end fits nicely and it was easy to get into the coach.

We have one thats works well in that space and leaves room for an electric fireplace to warm your toes while you're rocking!  Ours was ordered with the round pedestal and is easy to move around on the carpet.

Gave the still good barrel chair to Goodwill.

Some (and maybe all) La-z-boy recliners have a release latches for the back of the recliner. I've looked on YouTube and learned how to unlock and slide it off.

Having two smaller pieces made for easy moving. The back slides/snaps back into place once you are done.  In your case, getting it through the door should be a breeze.

We had a similar problem with the chair near the door, PO had removed it ? and put in a cheapo van chair. So that went where the nasty chairs go and I dug out a Lazee-Boy from the garage, low and behold the back was removable !!!!
It went in like a dream now we have to finalize the position then I'll screw it down.    ^.^d
