AC frosting over.

Well, after buggering the control switch on the rear AC unit (broke the control stem,, pair of pliers fixed that and it's running with no issues) the front unit is acting up.
Two mornings in a row the unit was frosted over, letting no air blow past.
Thinking unit may be low on gas? Blows cool air, but it's in the 90's here and humid as heck.
93 coleman units.

Filters clean?
Fan on HIGH?

If it still ices up, you probably need to go up on the roof, remove the A/C cover and then the evaporator cover (lots of little screws) and clean the evaporator.

Yes, low freon can cause icing, but so can restricted air flow.  Let us know.

Yes on filters and fan, but will clean filters again to be sure.
No shade here at all, so going on the roof will have to wait.
This humid south is killing us snowflake Yankees!

I use an old toothbrush on the filters, takes some time to do it right. Never had a icing problem with those big hog Colemans, though I liked them, but when problems came up, I switched brands.

Add-on: Looking at my files, my RAs were replaced in 2011. Working fine!

Ok, while I cleaned the filters last month, I looked and they were filthy.
Cleaned the best I could.
