Lucky's Bulk head Repair

Here is a few pictures of my friend Lucky's bulk head repair on their 99 U270 40'. His coach came from Alaska, it was really rusted. Not knowing this, he did the bolt repair, but it only lasted a year.
I am sure it was aggravated by the fact that he tows a 30' stacker trailer.
He replaced all 4 rear air bags in the process. He's been working on it, off on it for about a year now. He gets very busy with his Harley Shop Business
Check out the adjustable rear trailing arm. The alignment guy said the coach is 1/4" out of square in the rear. So he's going to have it aligned when it's done.When I see how that turns out, I may do the same. He got the arm for about $90.00 at six Robblees Spokane Washington

You might let your friend put a few thousand miles on those adjustable torque arms, before you change yours.  I'm for sure not a engineer (not even close), but those skinny tubular arms just don't look as stout as the stock pieces.  Time, however, will tell...

Having replaced ALL my torque rod bushings and seen how the mechanism works I disagree with the adjustable arm method.If he
replaced all his bushings he will probably gain the 1/4 inch.On mine you can loosen the u bolts that are on the axle and adjust
that way.All the torque rods are the same length so if you have adjustable rods you may be trying to align it by making it out of square.If you put adjustable rods on the bottom set then you would have to put them on the top to make it square.All the bushings
on mine were hard as a rock and I noticed a difference when done.All 5 rods on the front and the back work in unison with
each other.If his coach had rust then the bolts and the collars that the rubber fits on are rusted together.When your coach moves
up and down these end points pivot.

Bushings were hard as rocks, so did the new ones have more flex?
What difference did you notice when done?
Where did you obtain the new bushings?

To get the torque rod bolts in and out you have to raise and lower the coach,I thought the same thing when I removed a bolt and
the hole was a 1/4" off.
