Wyatt, the Howard Wax-n-Feed recommends starting with the Restorer product you mentioned. I didn't do that but used only the beeswax and orange oil stuff in the photo. I can't imagine how it could work better. Maybe that would help longevity? I imagine these two products must be quie similar. The Howard is like a thick gel/goop, so you can really control application on vertical and uneven surfaces. Nothing runny or dripping.

Prolly either or. We are picky, picky about smells and use ZEP. The coating that almost wrecked our buying this coach, was the PO used "Scott's Liquid Gold", which took us months to get rid of the obnoxious smell!

The restore a finish has different colors to match wood. How do we know which wood is used in each coach? I know there is more than one.

The Howard Restorer product is like a rub in stain finish and has a strong smell to it.  It is mainly for colors that have faded.  It comes in different colors.  Rub in with 0000 steel wool then wipe off.  I purchased the Feed-N-Wax only at Ace Hardware $9.95.

Chuck,

You're gonna love it.  It deep cleans the wood very well and will darken scratches and water spots.  After two applications I was really amazed!

I'm stoked about receiving the Howard's on Tuesday, and letting the dw try the foretravel diet on the inside of the coach, while I work on other issues. Oh BTW, one of those issues is the genset muffler cause we don't have anything but 15 amp power to her yet. So it may be somewhat warm inside.
