Invertor wiring question

I have a 94 u280 with the original heart freedom invertor that is giving me the warning that things are going to become an issue soon.  Currently it will sometimes want to overcharge the batteries but senses the voltage is too high and shits off as a safety.

I have found a whale of a deal an aims PICOGLF40W12V240VS brand new for 400 dollars. The info video says it needs 240v input for battery charging. While this invertor is double the size I currently have and overkill to me that means I really can't hurt it. Is the factory ac input to the heart freedom 240v? Or will I have to run 240v supply to it?  I know that the transfer switch is wired 240 just not sure if it is split at the panel and then only one leg to the invertor.

Your generator is 120 volt and it would not work. If you had a 240 volt generator it would fry all of your 120 volt appliances

With two hot legs at the transfer switch? And a two leg breaker switch?  Your 110 appliances just use one of the hot legs instead of both. Just not sure what they ran to the invertor.

Think I found it. Online manual says heart freedom input ac is 180 to 260 vac. That will make install easier.

you could split 240volts off a 50 amp service dock line service.

Yup, but it would ONLY work on 50 amp service.  One of the beauties of a 120 VAC inverter/charger is that it will work on 15,30,50 shore power as well as your generator.

It won't work. . .  Save your $400.  Buy a separate inverter and smaller battery charger with your $400.
