License plate tamper-proof security screws

With Don & Tys having their license place stolen and being aware of other RVers having the same problem while traveling around North America, we decide to make changes.  Our out of their state plates can be just too much of an attraction, and thefts always cause problems.

Found Security Tamper-proof license plate screws for our Jeep & motorhome in Lowe's hardware aisle drawers.

Package label is Hillman Security Screws, Stainless SMS, ΒΌ" x1".  Installation & removal tool package label is Hillman Security Bits, Star Drive T27.

We bought two tools, one to keep in Jeep and one for motorhome.  Screws are $1 each and tool $2.

You never know where else you will find tamper proof torx 27 screws, hang on to that tool.

I just used carrage bolts inserted from the outside on mine and tighten on the backside of the fiberglass rear cap.

When I served on city council in our small village in TX, we had to use these screws to keep our street signs from vanishing.  They solved the problem.
