Experienced in removing the back of the genset?

I need to drain the Kubota engine block.  The drain petcock is located behind the rear sheet metal at the back of the genset enclosure and it appears that the sheet metal is held on with screws on each side and the top and bottom are tucked under  the metal frame on each end.

When the side screws are removed will the sheet metal flex enough to allow it clear at the ends and be removed, or is there another way?

I may not totally understand your question, but I will try to answer a related question It is based on information from  removing some of the panels of my Quiet Box (assuming that is what you have too).
 
I have removed most of my Quiet Box panels. They are held in place with bolts along the edges. My purpose was to clean up from the disintegrating OEM insulation, which had made a total ugly-looking mess of my generator  and its surroundings. (It actually did not *seem* to impede its operation, but it needed to be made more better.)
 
To remove a single panel, you have to determine which other panels it connects with and remove those bolts. The rear panel is problematic, because to get good access to it, you have to slide the generator out further than my connected exhaust system will allow. The panels are fairly sturdy and will probably not flex enough to accomplish what you want.
 
I have not messed with the rear panel. The information I have provided is based on my experience from removing several of the other panels. to allow more access to the interior. I hope this information is useful, even if it was not the complete answer to your question.

Recently had Oregon motorcoach replace all the insulation in my GenseT. They picked up coach on their floor jacks, (which can put the bottom of the coach above your head if needed for service) pulled generator totally out of coach on forklift forks. Disassembled, cleaned, replaced insulation, reinstalled, serviced generator (oil and filters) also changed coolant.
About 2.5 coach bucks.

I called Power Tech and never got a call back, but it was Friday afternoon.

I took my box apart last year to replace all the sound insulation.  You can do this without removing your generator, but it isn't much fun.  You may consider doing the insulation if going to the trouble anyway.  This is what I used: 
SSP Foam Mat 1/2 thick by 48 wide (per foot)-Super Soundproofing Store
