Villa Seat Wiring
I recently discovered that my new (to me) Villa seats do not have the electrical connector that attaches to the 12 VDC and "ground". (I assume that the seller used them to connect his new seats to his coach; not a problem.)
Foretravel provided a two blade connector with a red wire and a green wire at the pilot and copilot seat locations. I assume that the red wire provides 12 VDC and the green wire provides "ground". My flexsteel seats had a matching connector for each seat. I did not expect the Villa seat connectors would match, so I was planning to use a new connector at each end.
My biggest problem is that I do not know, and have not been able to find information about how the Villa seats connect to the motorhome. At the moment they are just six stranded wires, that I think are combined three each, and then connect to the coach wiring.
There are two black wires and a blue wire that seem to be twisted together and there are two red wires twisted together. There is a black wire with a white stripe, that might have been twisted with the red wires, but I am not sure.
Do any of you guys and gals know how they are wired and supposed to connect? I would appreciate any help you can give me. If nothing else, would you please take closeup pictures of your Villa connection wires, so I can see which wires are combined together? Thank you very much.
