Waste Master Holding Tank Drain System

After years of leaks, foulness and profanity associated with draining holding tanks, I researched to find the best possible solution for this issue. Walmart and Camping World drain hoses all fit loosely at the connection. They all leak; I've never had a hose last a full season. I bought the Lippert Wast Master system.

This is a relatively expensive ($150+/-) system, and it involves permanently modifying the hose connection, by cutting off the bayonet attachments used by the el-cheapo hoses. The Waste Master utilizes a permanent outflow connection that snaps in and eliminates handling the weak and messy twist-on connector. It's guaranteed to last, and you can feel it's substantial construction.

Several of us have the Wastemaster system. Do a search and see Don's installation.

Foretravel puts them on the IH45's

I did look that up and found it very useful, plus got some ideas for further mods of wastewater hose storage, as well as freshwater- and shore power cord stowage, which would be a huge improvement on my GV.

The Waste Master system came with my coach.  In my opinion, there is no comparison to the ones for sale at Walmart and Camping World etc.  Having just spent the summer in the Nevada desert,  I used the cheaper setup in the extremely hot weather because I didn't want the Waste Master exposed to 110 degree heat, even though we typically only have the hose out when dumping and then put it away.  There is an adapter that goes from a Camlock to the cheaper ones which allows you to use a cheaper hose when you want to.  The Waste Master is worth every penny in my book!

I too like my Waste Master.
My only compliant is the size of the female camlock fittings, I think they could be shorter.

  I think I was the first on here to install the hose. It was initially a polychute hose. I talked with wastemaster on the phone about it and told them about how Foretravels are. Even sent them some pictures and measurements. They custom made my hose end shorter so I could route mine down through the door. They may still do that if you give them a call. It is worth a try.

I installed a waste Master hose system this year along with two waste Master electric dump valves and switches. One thing I can tell you is that when the end is sealed there's a vacuum in there don't try to extend the hose without first releasing that vacuum or you'll deform it. That's how powerful the end valve is. I had to modify my system a bit to get it to fit and I'm still not completely happy with my installation but I have a different type of exit out the wet Bay then most since my basement was replaced. Also having trouble with one of the electric dump valves now the black tank valve is not working and I haven't really tried troubleshooting it yet. There's a manual way to open and close it and that's the way I've been using it for now. Once I get in Texas I will troubleshoot it and see if it was my wiring that caused it or something else. But  yeah the waste Master system is quite a step up from the traditional RV sewer hose. I like it a lot. I also got the waste master hose management system for having it aligned properly to the sewer connector. I like that too although I don't usually leave my dump hose connected to the sewer I just dump and put it away again. But I'll be in one place for the next 2 months and I'm sure I'll keep it connected during that time
