That 'report' is just a commercial and like most commercials are not good sources of 'information'. . .

Aquatec part number 8852-2J03-B544.  I'm not sure of the the current draw.  I'll get my amp meter and measure it once it stops raining!  The pump is very low noise -- I cannot hear it running.  I've attached the generic spec sheet and there are some more details in reply #8 above.
According to the spec sheet, it's a pretty low draw. Our home unit sees about 60 psi from the well pump. Thanks for the PDF. Wish I had not read the post as now it's another project. :D
