Recomendations for wireless remote temperature readings

Does anyone have a recommendation on a wireless temperature sensor system? I would like to monitor temperatures in my plumbing bays with display located inside coach? Thank you in advance

I have had pretty good luck with the AcuRite brand.  They make a bunch of different styles and models, depending on how fancy you want to get.  I am currently using the one linked below.  I like it because the monitor is small and simple, but tells me everything I want to know.  3 remotes - I use one at each end of our wet bay, and one in the big center storage bay  The monitor displays the temp in the living area.

We have an Ambient Weather 8 channel monitor.  Comes from Amazon or Anbient Weather directly with up to 8 remote sensors.  Works pretty well for us.  All wireless. Temp and humidity.

It all depends upon what you want and are willing to pay for. 
There are both inexpensive (and less accurate/reliable) devices available, as well as industrial grade.

I tried some of the inexpensive ones that others recommended and are commonly available, but I found them to be very frustrating in that they were finicky regarding reliable transmission, ate batteries and were grossly inaccurate (by 4 to 5 degrees, even as advertised) at the calibration points (32 degree iced salt water and 212 degree boiling water).

In 1999 I purchased some Controls Company Traceable Products and I'm still using them today.  New they included NBS certification paperwork demonstrating accuracy to +/- 1.0 degree C {+/- 1.8 degree F} (actual +/- 0.2 degree C {+/- 0.36 degree F}).  19 years later, they are still reliable and accurate +/- 0.5 degree F.  Batteries last at least a year and often much longer, depending upon the environment (colder equals less available energy/transmission).

They display, trend, alarm and will remember both high and low temperatures (since last reset) for the main plus as many as three remotes up to 100 feet away. 

Since we now follow the sun and generally avoid freezing temperatures, I use one remote in the refrigerator, one in the freezer, one outside (probe mounted in the shade away from all heat sources [poking just below floor vent in the propane bay] and the main thermometer is in the dash area, easily readable throughout the main cabin. The main readout and remotes are easily moved to wherever you want to monitor temperatures. We often move them to the house and invariably take them on any trips when we are going to be away from the coach for extended periods.

The only deficit that I'm aware of is that the newer remotes only display (locally) in degrees C.  They display in either degrees C or F on the main display.  Originally, the remotes would display (locally) in both, but I guess that it was not feasible to hermetically seal the remote's selector switch (like the rest of the remote case) and therefore did not met the OEM's reliability standards.

As mentioned above, it all depends on what you want/need.
I, personally, am not attempting cold fusion in my basement, so I use the Accurite brand with one remote sensor in my wet bay.  It's not accurate to .001%, but I do know where temps are trending and a quick look at the forecast let's me know what to expect.  Hey, if it's  35 outside, dropping and 10 PM, I figure it's time to take precautions.
As usual, YMMV.

I like Acurite's smartHUB system because:

- It has a water detector also
- Internet readout, anywhere in the world.
- Inexpensive and it works. Better reviews than competitors.
- Good warranty. Sent me a new detector, no questions asked.
- Easy set up with your own sensor name. E.g. WATER BAY RIGHT
- Better range than the competition
- Email alarms, free

I look at mine simpler one once in a while if it is cold out.  Sufficient for me.  But Tim's is pretty neat.
