transmission

Hello Folks,

I have a 2004 U 320 42 foot. Last week I pulled into our camp site and noticed a large air leak coming from the tag air controller. So this last week I removed and cleaned all  of the tag control valves. Now no more air leak. I went to move the coach yesterday and found it would not go into drive or reverse. The six on the drive would just blink and r on reverse would just blink. The display read out is o O L- 7  My question is can cleaning the tag valves be related to the transmission not going into gear? I acts like the slides are open. When I tried to put in to gear the slides were closed. Is there a bypass for the slide lock out? Is there a way to check the slide circuit?

If engine RPM too high, the "6" or "R" will just blink-- it will not go into gear. This is to protect the drive train. Sure, there are other causes, but verify engine RPM is correct before hunting for more difficult causes.

And to check for diagnostic codes, you have to press the up and down arrows TWICE.  First time is for OL or oil level check.  The second push of both at the same time brings up d-1 followed by any diagnostic codes.  If there is a d-1, press mode to bring up d-2, etc.

Ignition needs to be on, but no need for the engine to be on.

If you look at your hwh box in your electronics bay, you will find a rotary switch [turns with a small screwdriver] labeled 110 volt and 220 volt, turn to 220 volt. This will disable interlock for slides, not sure if this is the problem, but worth a try.

I have a question. Is the tag control manifold tied to the transmission control pad?

Not on my coach. If problem started only after cleaning hwh valves, would get back under coach and recheck all the wiring for good connections. tag hwh wiring runs in same bundle as transmission wiring going to front of coach.
