Flooring & Tires (ouch!)

Picked up the coach last Friday from Infinity and have been admiring our new flooring!  We selected our flooring, Cypress Point Herringbone Hybrid Resilient, from Floor and Decor.  The guys (Sam) at Infinity did a great job and we are very happy with the installation.  While in NAC, we had new Michelins installed on both the truck and coach at Herman Power thru the Michelin Advantage Program. Also had some repairs taken care of at Risch RV!  Lots of good service in Nacogdoches!  Now back on the road!

That's a beautiful floor!!!  You'd never know it wasn't engineered wood!

Tom.  Thanks and yes, we will arrive at West Lake on August 1st.  Looking forward to seeing y'all!
Erniee, I don't know what mold release is but the black stuff on the treads is from the tire shop after we picked up the coach.  Should have cleaned them before the picture.
Peter, round numbers, Labor $7300.00 and material $1600.00.  10 working days at Infinity.
Picking out this floor was without a doubt the most arduous task that Joyce and I have tackled since we have been married.  It took months looking at hundreds of samples and talking with Erniee, his son and many other installers before we saw what we both really liked.

Roppe rubber treads are made in a mold. There is a releasing agent/powder that needs to be cleaned off. If not, it doesn't do any harm, but the treads look cloudy/dusty and not shiny. A clean white cloth with no chemicals is the proper way to do the task. I add the treads at the very last so they look brand new and shiny for the owners first inspection.

Dan, look forward to meeting you.  West Lake is just down the road from Golden Eagle.

Thanks Erniee, tread was perfect when we picked up the coach from Infinity.  Went to tire shop next morning and they were not so careful. All clean now.  Joyce was mortified that I posted the picture before she had a chance to clean.  But I'm often in the dog house!

Just curious did you compare tire prices with National Tire Concierge? I bought tires in March and they had the best price on Michelins, even beat my quote for Toyos from Southern tire mart...

I tried contacting them with two numbers I got online.  One appeared out of service and I left a message on the other.  I did not hear from them so went with the Michelin Advantage.  I have used the Advantage program before and was satisfied with them so used them again.
